Love calls for implants, says 57-year-old woman

A 57-year-old grandma, surnamed Hsu, asked for a “boob job” at the very first moment upon seeing the plastic surgeon in an appointment she made. Hsu was upset about how her breasts had shrunk and sagged after nursing her children. Her husband also seemed to have lost interest in her, Hsu told the surgeon.

Apparently, Hsu is not alone in trying to reignite the fire in marriage by having plastic surgery on her breasts. Over 90 percent of clients who undergo breast augmentation are married women, including many grandmothers, said Guantien General Hospital's plastic and reconstructive cosmetic surgery center.

A perfect pair of breasts is not about size, but proportion. With the nipple at the center, the best proportion of inner side breast to outer side breast is one to two, and the percentage for upper side and lower side breast is 1/3 and 2/3, said a plastic surgeon from Guantien General Hospital. For elderly women dreaming to have their boobs firmed, the surgery should always take size and shape of breasts into consideration, the surgeon added.
