The number of strokes happening to adults between ages of 20 and 40 has risen by 2 percent per year for the past five years. In 2009, 35 percent of the stroke patients cared by the organization were people of this age group. Young people tend to lose control when traveling to a foreign country, indulging in excessive alcohol, lavish meals, parties and nightlife, leading to distortions in biological routines. Since cardio-vascular diseases especially take place in chilly winter days — approximately 20 percent higher than in summer days — doctors advised that people should maintain a regular lifestyle and healthy diets when traveling abroad.
