Investigators confiscate alcohol laced with cocaine

TAOYUAN, Taiwan -- The Ministry of Justice's Investigation Bureau (MJIB) in yesterday confiscated over two hundred crates of alcohol in Taoyuan which were found to contain traces of cocaine.

The MJIB received a tip off days ago about a popular alcohol containing cocaine that was being sold in nightspots, and the IB's Taoyuan and Kaohsiung branches immediately began investigating the matter.

Tests run by the National Science Council confirmed that the alcohol contained cocaine. Investigators are currently tracking down those responsible for importing the alcohol.
