It found that 45 percent of Canadians are "stressed or overwhelmed by financial concerns," said a statement. This proportion jumps to 51 percent for those earning less than C$30,000 (US$27,000) annually. Fifty-two percent of respondents said they were "worried about their health," while 27 percent feared losing their job. Also, one-quarter of them reported delaying or canceling dentist appointments, and 16 percent said they had skipped meals because of financial problems. The results are based on a telephone survey of 1,002 adults and an online survey of 3,223 adults, with a margin of error, respectively for each section, of 3.2 percent and 1.73 percent.
