They said the doctors did not give any explanations before asking them to take off their pants. They felt humiliated and hurt. Chao said there have been more than 30 similar complaints since 2006. She said setting up a standard operating procedure would help to protect the privacy and feelings of the school children. Doctors should explain to the patients what they are doing before examining their bodies.
