Councilor Wu, I believe the only 'black spots' in this city are the sidewalks. I can't believe anyone bicycles on the road as they are always all over the sidewalks running into us regular, law-abiding people who are walking right where we should be. We shouldn't have to be worried about these inconsiderate people as they weave in and out of us in a place they have no right to be. This city would be better off if the police put a little effort into getting them off the sidewalks, something I have never witnessed. But then again, look where we are as nobody follows the rule of law here, so I do not expect anything to be done. But when someone (or their child) gets hurt that is well-connected or famous, then they will crack down I think. Again, we have to remember where we live. So, to councilor Wu, your city will be a much better and safer place to live once your self-titled 'black spot' is erased. It would just take your police department to do a little work, but I do not expect that to happen either, I have been here too long to know! Subscribe to The China Post and save 25%. Click here |
