Audi ranks top in German magazine poll

Of note, the “best compact car” title went to Audi's A1, the elegant style and high performance of which appeal to many urban drivers.

The poll is now in its 37th year and saw participation by 112,877 readers, who voted on 373 models from various renowned automakers. There were 10 categories in the poll.

“The poll has been held for decades and is one of the most prestigious in Europe,” Audi said. “It has won the trust of automakers and consumers alike, and Audi's top rankings in various categories once again indicate our leadership status in the market.”

With the A1 ranking No. 1, Audi Taiwan will introduce six A1 models to the island to let drivers get a taste of the vehicle's power and performance. The models are A1 Attraction, Ambition, Sport, Sportback, Sportback Luxury and Sportback Sport, which are offered for, respectively, NT$1.15 million, NT$1.36 million, NT$1.59 million, NT$1.29 million, NT$1.42 million and NT$1.65 million.

“Drivers can choose the models based on their preference and taste,” Audi said. “Various equipment and accessories are also added to satisfy drivers' special needs.”
