HTC stock end trading day higher in lead-up to possible new model launch

HTC shares rose yesterday on anticipation it will soon release a flagship model.

The firm rose 1.93 percent to close at NT$290 yesterday.

HTC yesterday sent out invitations to a product launch to be held simultaneously in New York and London on Feb. 19. The market expects the new model will be the much-anticipated M7.
