Hon Hai says Apple's naming of suppliers was to up transparency

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Apple's revelation of its supply chain partners is meant to increase its transparency and competitiveness, said Hon Hai, one of its partners, yesterday.

Apple yesterday revealed some of its parts of components suppliers and assemblers. Hon Hai was one of them.

“This is a way for Apple to raise its competitiveness, and Hon Hai will continue to work with Apple to strengthen our social responsibility,” Hon Hai said.
