Gold price gains after two-day dropGold for April delivery rose US$23.50 to settle at US$1,748.40 an ounce Tuesday. Silver also rose 44.4 cents to US$34.19 an ounce. Other metals were also higher. Traders were hopeful that Greece would avoid a default next month following news that the government was preparing to brief other European nations on the details of a debt restructuring deal.
