Updated Wednesday, January 23, 2008 0:00 am TWN, AP HELSINKI, Finland -- Nokia Corp. said its leaders met Monday with representatives of the Bochum manufacturing plant and German unions, a week after it announced the closure of the German unit. The meeting in Helsinki between Nokia officials, including Chief Executive Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, representatives of the Bochum plant and German’s largest union, IG Metall, was for the sides to make preliminary contact before holding official talks, company spokeswoman Arja Suominen said.
