Coffee lovers have a place to indulge in 2014 Culinary Fair

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- From Aug. 15-18, one can enjoy specialty coffees from Guatemala at the 2014 Culinary Fair, taking place in the Taipei Exhibition Center Hall 1.
Ergos, a Guatemala specialty coffee importer, has gathered Taiwan's most famous roasters and baristas to introduce some very special coffees.
The Vizcaya Corporation, a Guatemala-based coffee importer, also set up a booth at the fair, serving different flavors trickled down from eight major coffee production areas of "the Land of Eternal Spring."
Vizcaya sells high-quality Guatemalan coffee produced from Guatemala's famous production areas to the Taiwanese market and sources characteristic Taiwanese products for export to Central America.
Carlos Pascual, chief executive officer of Vizcaya, will also appear at the fair to instruct the visitors on how to taste the varieties of coffees while illustrating in a photography exhibition held by his company to familiarize Taiwanese with Guatemalan coffee culture.
Guatemala is a very well known origin of specialty coffees. With eight very distinct coffee producing regions, it produces some of the most famous and unique coffees.
The Taiwan International Culinary Exhibition (台灣國際美食展) is organized by the Chinese Gourmet Association (中華美食交流協會), Taiwan Michelin Gourmet (台灣米其林廚師學會) and Chan Chao International Co. (展昭國際).
