Luxgen sales expected to double to 15,000 in 2014

TAIPEI -- Sale of Luxgen cars are expected to double this year to 15,000 units in 2014, a high-ranking executive at YulonMotor Co., which created the first Taiwanese auto brand in 2008, said yesterday.

The sales will likely be prompted by a planned increase in the supply of Luxgen's latest models and anticipated growth in sales of new-model Nissans and Mitsubishis, Yulon Motor Vice Chairman Chen Kou-rong said at a ceremony to celebrate the launch of the Luxgen S5 Turbo.
