Ken Chang, senior vice president of EVA Air, and Li Bincheng, director of the Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administration, unveiled the cooperation program of “One Trip Taiwan and Shanghai” via EVA Air.
Chang said that EVA Air first cooperated with the Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administration three years ago to have tourists from North America visit Shanghai via Taiwan.
That program generated good results, and the airline now hopes to repeat the success in Europe, Chang said.
EVA Air offers four direct flights a week between Paris and Taipei and 14 flights per week between London, Vienna and Amsterdam and Taipei via Bangkok.
It also has 18 nonstop flights per week between Taipei and Kaohsiung and Shanghai, giving tourists arriving from Europe convenient connections to the Chinese city.
