Delta Air Lines manages US$7 million profit in Q4AP MINNEAPOLIS -- Delta says its fourth-quarter profit was nearly wiped out by Superstorm Sandy in the U.S. and special charges.
January 23, 2013, 12:01 am TWN Delta recorded a profit of US$7 million for the quarter, or a penny per share. During the same period last year it earned US$425 million, or 51 cents per share. U.S.-based Delta says that without special items it would have earned US$238 million, or 28 cents per share. Revenue rose 2 percent to US$8.6 billion.
