This marks a clear difference between the S1081 and other devices available in the market today. Moreover, the device is powered by the latest Intel Atom dual-core processor that features a high-performance and low-power consumption design. It has a 1.8 GHz CPU, 2 GB RAM and 320 GB hard disk and weighs 790 gm. According to Karna, the newest offering from Gigabyte has a huge potentiality in the domestic market as tablet computers are becoming more and more popular. “The future market is of tablets, and thus we have come up with this model to make sure that we secure a good position in this competitive market,” Karna said. Likewise, the device boasts a 10.1 inch capacitive multitouch LED backlit display that produces crisp images. The multi-touch display, according to Neoteric Nepal, produces a remarkable touch experience that is perfect for making presentations, accomplishing business tasks, viewing media and playing games. The tablet also possesses hot keys that are designed to make operating it fun and easy. Users can simply press the keyboard icons to bring out a virtual keyboard or handwriting feature.
