Carrefour says third-quarter revenue up 2.1% on home market, L. AmericaAFP PARIS -- French retail giant Carrefour said Thursday that its third-quarter sales gained 2.1 percent, helped by an increase in its ailing home market and Latin America.

Pro forma sales, which exclude comparisons with Greece where Carrefour sold off its operations in June, climbed to 22.62 billion euros (US$29.1 billion), the group said in a statement.
