Mitsubishi Motors Corp. reports smaller quarterly loss

TOKYO -- Mitsubishi Motors Corp. reported a smaller quarterly loss Thursday on growing sales in China and other emerging markets that underlined a robust global auto recovery. Mitsubishi, which makes the iMiEV electric car, said its net loss for the April-June fiscal first quarter totaled 11.8 billion yen (US$135.6 million).
