24 hours worth of video uploaded to YouTube every minute: director

WASHINGTON -- YouTube said Wednesday that 24 hours worth of video are being uploaded to the video-sharing site every minute. “What's next? 30 hours? 36 hours?” YouTube director of product management Hunter Walk said in a blog post.

Google-owned YouTube announced in May that 20 hours of video were being uploaded to the site every minute, up from 15 hours in January. In mid-2007, six hours of video were being uploaded to YouTube every minute, according to the site.
