Chunghwa Telecom signs NT$6 bil. satellite contract

Chunghwa Telecom Co., Taiwan's largest phone operator, said it signed a NT$6 billion lease of the ST-2 satellite owned by ST-2 Satellite Venture Pte., its venture with Singapore Telecommunications Ltd. The lease is from today until March 12, 2026, the Taipei-based operator said in an exchange filing.
