Kali+Salz Q4 net income falls 93% to 16 mil. euros

FRANKFURT -- German salt and fertilizer company Kali+Salz AG says the company's fourth-quarter net income fell 93 percent to 16 million euros (US$22 million) as the downturn significantly affected demand on global agricultural markets. The Kassel-based company earned 227 million euros in net income in the fourth quarter of 2008.
