Updated Wednesday, December 2, 2009 11:19 am TWN, Bloomberg SAN FRANCISCO -- Broadcom Corp., the maker of chips for wireless headsets and television set-top boxes, said it will buy closely held Dune Networks for about US$178 million to add to its range of products for data centers. Dune, which has offices in Sunnyvale, California, and Yakum, Israel, designs chips that help speed up the flow of information in computer networks, Broadcom said Monday.
