Suzuki Motor will end production in Taiwan

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Suzuki Motor Corp. will end production of vehicles in Taiwan, the company said. The date for ending production hasn't been decided yet, company spokesman Hideki Taguchi said by phone today.

The Japanese automaker currently builds about 3,000 vehicles a year in Taiwan, he said.
