Vietnam ratifies investment agreement with Qatar: media

HANOI -- The prime minister of communist Vietnam, Nguyen Tan Dung, has ratified an agreement on the promotion and mutual protection of investments with Qatar, state media reported.

The pact had been signed in Doha in March, the Vietnam News Agency said late Saturday. Vietnam has been expanding its economic links with the Middle East.
