S. Korean city allows restaurants, cafes to accept foreign currency

SEOUL -- The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority has selected 40 restaurants and cafes in Songdo International City that will be able to accept dollars and euros as part of its efforts to improve living conditions for foreign residents.

The selected locations would also accept foreign credit cards.

Since September, the establishments have put certification marks on their buildings and have been promoted via the Global Service Center website and guidebooks so that people can find them more easily.
