Data show South Korea exports fall for 3rd straight month in SeptemberAFP SEOUL -- South Korean exports fell for the third consecutive month in September as the global economic slowdown hit shipments, official data showed Monday.
October 2, 2012, 12:23 am TWN Exports in September fell 1.8 percent from a year ago to US$45.66 billion, while imports dropped 6.1 percent to US$42.51 billion, according to the Ministry of Knowledge Economy. The September trade surplus stood at US$3.15 billion in September, compared with a US$1.6 billion surplus in the same month last year. |
