World's largest exhibition showcasing flat-panel displays coming to TaipeiDisplay Taiwan, now in its 14th year, will focus on touch panel technology and active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED), a display technology for use in mobile devices and televisions, said the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), which is organizing the event. The three-day event is expected to attract 240 exhibitors, up from 231 exhibitors last year, according to the TAITRA. Last year's show was the first time that Display Taiwan had outshone Japan's Flat Panel Display International in Yokohama, which used to be the largest of its kind, the council said. | |||||||||||||
