CAL to start charter flights to Shanghai and BeijingBloomberg TAIPEI, Taiwan -- China Airlines, Taiwan’s biggest carrier, and its Mandarin Airlines subsidiary will start passenger charter services to four Chinese cities including Shanghai and Beijing next month.
June 21, 2008, 12:00 am TWN The two Taipei-based carriers will offer a total of 29 roundtrips to the Chinese cities, also including Guangzhou and Xiamen, in July, China Airlines said in an e-mailed statement yesterday. China Airlines will cooperate with the mainland’s China Southern Airlines Co., China Eastern Airlines Corp. and Air China Ltd. in areas including maintenance services, in-flight meals, the Taiwanese company said. |
