erence yesterday to announce the results of a recent international rice-noodle forum held in Guangxi Province, China. The forum was held in the county of Xingan in Guilin City in the southern Chinese province from April 17-21.
The representatives of the association said they discussed with other participants in the forum the differences in rice noodle cuisine and uses in various regions and learned from one another’s experiences in the rice-noodle business.
At the news conference, members of the Hsinchu delegation to the forum presented Hsinchu Mayor Lin Jung-tzer with an invitation from Xingan County head Wang Jianyi to attend Guilin’s rice noodle festival to be held from April 28 to May 2.
