US dollar gains NT$0.008 to finish trading at NT$29.630

TAIPEI -- The U.S. dollar rose against the New Taiwan dollar yesterday, gaining NT$0.008 to close at the day's high of NT$29.630.

Turnover totaled US$603 million during the trading session.

The greenback opened at NT$29.630 and reached a low of NT$29.508 before the close.
