US dollar loses NT$0.088 to finish day at NT$29.580 on Taipei forex

TAIPEI -- The U.S. dollar fell against the New Taiwan dollar yesterday, losing NT$0.088 to close at NT$29.580.

Turnover totaled US$875 million during the trading session.

The greenback opened at NT$29.670 and reached a low of NT$29.522 and a high of NT$29.679 before the close.
