Wi-Fi Alliance opens Taipei office for support servicesCNA TAIPEI -- Wi-Fi Alliance, the global collaboration forum for Wi-Fi wireless technology, formally opened a branch office in Taiwan Thursday to provide certification and engineering support to its member companies throughout Asia.
January 25, 2013, 12:51 am TWN The staff of the Taipei branch office will assist the member companies with technical and certification policy information, and help them prepare products for certification testing at a Wi-Fi Alliance-authorized test laboratory. “Taiwan has been a critical part of our industry since its inception and remains a key part of the industry's future,” said Wi-Fi Alliance President and CEO Edgar Figueroa. “We are pleased to establish a local presence and to provide accessible engineering support to our members throughout Asia,” he told a press conference in Taipei.
