US dollar gains NT$0.025 to end trade at NT$29.095

TAIPEI -- The U.S. dollar closed up against the New Taiwan dollar yesterday, gaining NT$0.025 to close at NT$29.095.

Turnover totaled US$639 million during the trading session.

The greenback opened at NT$29.070 and reached a low of 28.971 before close.
