US dollar edges lower to end trading at NT$29.085

TAIPEI -- The U.S. dollar closed lower against the New Taiwan dollar yesterday, losing NT$0.014 to close at NT$29.085.

Turnover totaled US$643 million during the trading session.

The U.S. currency opened at the day's high of NT$29.100, and reached a low of NT$28.950 before the close.
