US dollar declines NT$0.049 to finish day at NT$29.039 on Taipei exchange

TAIPEI -- The U.S. dollar fell against the New Taiwan dollar Friday, losing NT$0.049 to close at NT$29.039.

Turnover totaled about US$908 million during the trading session.

The greenback opened at the day's high of NT$29.090 and reached a low of NT$28.930 during the session.
