US dollar rises by NT$0.002 to finish trading at NT$29.127 on Taipei forex

TAIPEI -- The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar Tuesday, gaining NT$0.002 to close at NT$29.127.

Turnover totaled about US$681 million during the trading session.

The U.S. unit opened at NT$29.125, and moved between NT$29.000 and NT$29.127 before the close.
