US dollar sheds NT$0.046 to end day's trading at NT$29.090 on Taipei forex

TAIPEI -- The U.S. dollar fell against the Taiwan dollar yesterday, shedding NT$0.046 to close at NT$29.090.

Turnover totaled about US$991 million during the trading session.

The U.S. unit opened at NT$29.138, and moved between NT$28.998 and NT$29.142 before the close.
