US dollar gains NT$0.023 to end trade at NT$29.269

TAIPEI -- The U.S. dollar rose against the New Taiwan dollar yesterday, gaining NT$0.023 to close at the day's high of NT$29.269.

Turnover totaled about US$757 million during the trading session.

The U.S. unit opened at NT$29.246, off a low of NT$29.180 before rebounding at the close.
