Taiwan-France forum on electric car sector beginsCNA TAIPEI -- A Taiwan-France forum on the electric vehicle sector opened in Taipei yesterday, attracting hundreds of experts and industry representatives from the two countries.
October 19, 2012, 4:23 pm TWN The Taiwan-France Automotive Industry Cluster Exchange Seminar is focusing this year on future trends in electric vehicle technology and how businesses can benefit from those trends globally, the organizers said. Taiwan has accumulated many strengths in the information and communication technology industry, and now it also aims to be a major player in green technology, said Jet Shu, an adviser to the industrial technology department under the Ministry of Economic Affairs, one of the organizers.
