US dollar gains NT$0.02, ends trade at NT$29.405 in Taipei

TAIPEI -- The U.S. dollar rose against the New Taiwan dollar yesterday, gaining NT$0.02 to close at NT$29.405.

Turnover totaled about US$749 million during the trading session.

The U.S. unit opened at NT$29.390 and moved between NT$29.300 and NT$29.410 before the close.
