US dollar sheds NT$0.017 to finish trade at NT$29.385 on Taipei forex

TAIPEI -- The U.S. dollar fell against the Taiwan dollar yesterday, shedding NT$0.017 to close at NT$29.385.

Turnover totaled US$685 million during the trading session.

The U.S. unit opened at the day's high of NT$29.402, off a low of NT$29.270 before the close.
