US dollar gains NT$0.046 to close at NT$29.497 in Taipei

TAIPEI -- The U.S. dollar rose against the New Taiwan dollar yesterday, gaining NT$0.046 to close at NT$29.497.

Turnover totaled US$896 million during the trading session.

The U.S. unit opened at NT$29.455, and moved between NT$29.342 and NT$29.501 before the close.
