Latin American exports forecast to jump by 21 percent in 2010The Santiago-based U.N. Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean said in a report that regional exports to China rose 44.5 percent in the first half of this year, after dropping 2.2 percent in the same period in 2009. The trade boost confirms the health of the region's economy, which ECLAC in July forecast would grow this year by 5.2 percent in Latin America and the Caribbean. | |||||||||||||
