Obama bids to create jobs with tax cuts and loan relief for small businesses

EDISON, New Jersey -- U.S. President Barack Obama on Wednesday cast Democrats as the party that is trying to create jobs and urged the Senate to overcome Republican opposition and pass a package of tax cuts and loan relief for small businesses.

Obama traveled to New Jersey to eat a meat-stacked sandwich and speak at a sandwich shop, where he recounted the stories of local business owners and touted his efforts to help them before acknowledging that more government help is needed.
