| AFP SINGAPORE -- The 87-year-old wife of Singapore's founding father Lee Kuan Yew is in "serious condition" at a hospital after suffering a stroke earlier this week, the government has said. Mrs Lee, who is also the mother of the current prime minister, "suffered sudden left-sided weakness and slurring of speech" on Monday and was taken to hospital, a statement from her husband's office issued late Thursday said.
