Updated Tuesday, July 27, 2010 10:51 am TWN, AFP New Zealand teenager survives 16-story fallThe 15-year-old was in a stable condition in hospital with a broken wrist, broken rib, gouged leg and internal injuries three days after his 50-meter (160-foot) plunge. The boy fell from the balcony of his parent's apartment and crashed through the steel roof of the building's carpark, which cushioned his fall before he landed on a concrete floor, the building manager Jason Epps-Eades told the newspaper.
