A total of 21 original music singers and bands from Taiwan and abroad will serve the audience a feast for the senses, said the Ministry of Culture, the event's organizer, on Tuesday.
Among the scheduled acts are Grammy award-winning American trumpeter Chris Botti, Japanese jazz saxophonist and flautist Kaori Kobayashi and Taiwanese aboriginal a cappella singing group the O-Kai Singers.
Other local artists and groups, including post rock band Sugar Plum Ferry, indigenous singer-songwriter Panai, and the band Chalaw & Passiwali, which combines indigenous music with Latin rhythms and rock sensibilities, will also offer fresh spins on local music.
