TAIPEI--The sponsor for Taiwan's largest grassroots initiative that encourages the public to visit towns and villages across the country launched a mobile application Friday that will allow tourists to compile and organize their travel memories more effectively.

Instead of issuing a commemorative travel log for collecting stamps for one's itineraries, CommonWealth Magazine said the paperless tool would contribute to environmental protection and offer additional travel information.
