Israeli novel and Russian poems win translation prizesGail Hareven's novel “The Confessions of Noa Weber” won the Best Translated Book Award for fiction. It was written in Hebrew and translated by Dalya Bilu for Melville House Press. The poetry prize went to Elena Fanailova's “The Russian Version.” It was translated by Genya Turovskaya and Stephanie Sandler and published by Ugly Duckling Presse. | |||||||||||||
