The exhibition, titled “Capture the Moment: The Pulitzer Prize Photographs,” will showcase 151 Pulitzer Prize-winning photos taken between 1942 and 2012, said Media Sphere Communications Ltd., one of the organizers, at a news conference.
“It covers lives,” Cyma Rubin, the exhibition curator and president of the New York-based Business of Entertainment Inc., said of the exhibit that portrays stories from around the world.
Among the exhibits are the famous World War II photograph that shows soldiers raising the American flag on Mount Suribachi on the island of Iwo Jima; a photo of the World Trade Center in New York after it was struck on Sept. 11, 2001 in a terrorist attack; and a photo showing the suffering in Haiti in the wake of a powerful hurricane in 2008.
